Summer is Almost Over?!?

So this summer has been quite eventful. Although we have been busy with summer term over the past 2 months, we have managed to have some good times. A trip to Bear Lake, some good concerts, I DJ'd at W Lounge and some house parties, etc. Now that finals are over we are going to escape Utah for a week or so and go to Portland to help Andrew and Amy move into their new apartment, so that will be a nice break. Here are some pics from our summer so far...

Driving to Bear Lake for the weekend.

Leland and Burgundy enjoying the beach at the lake.

We went to the Benny Benassi concert, it was amazing.

Photo blog

So I have finally made a photo blog. Actually I created it back in March, but have just been a slow poke when it came to doing anything with it. So check it out. I will be posting photos from China soon enough, for everyone who asked to see those.

Also, thanks to my good ol' friend Amy for doing the logo and what not for it. She's pretty amazing if anyone needs someone to graphically design it up...But yes, check out the blog.

Lucy is almost home!!!

So I have had to survive the last month alone while Lucy has been in China on a photo trip. She comes back on Tuesday and I am super stoked about it. It has been an ok month but Lucy has been seriously missed for sure. Photos will soon be posted about the goings on in China. In the meantime here are some less fantastic photos about what I've been up to, when I haven't been studying, while Lucy has been gone...

Angled

My mom and I were talking last night and we decided on a new trend. Its kind of like having your ears gauged, but instead of having your ears gauged you get them angled. It's pretty cool. If you want to join my awesome club of angled ears, it's simple. All you have to do is pierce your ear(s) and then every time you pull your shirt over your head, you catch your earring on your shirt and gradually rip your earring out. Then one day, you just have to rip it all the way through and voila! you can have angled ears too. My is only about a 10 degree angle, but I am sure you can make it more obtuse if you desire. Here is a photo of this amazing new look. It kind of looks like pac man.

If you ever get sick of it, you can just have the doctor to cut all your scar tissue off (oh so painful) and then sew it right up and then look sad like me because it will hurt.

Flu+Cooking=Bad Idea

So I woke up this morning with a fever and all the other amazing symptoms that go along with having the flu. I have been pretty out of it all day, but I decided that I would cook dinner anyway and that it might help. Everything appeared to be going really well until about 5 minutes before it was time to eat. I went to pull the rolls out of the oven and they looked a little weird to me. I then realized that I had put the rolls in the oven and baked them with a piece of plastic wrap on them. I have no clue how I managed this, but somehow I did. I really wanted rolls though, so I just cut the tops of them off and we ate them anyways. So if we both die tonight, it might have something to do with that. Oh and then the spoon fell out of the pan of spaghetti sauce and I managed to launch sauce all over the kitchen floor, our table and our carpet. Needless to say, the meal was not the greatest.

Here are some photos of what we have been up to lately...

Finally bought our first washer and dryer
Went to Twilight and played pool with my Dad, Andrew, Amy and James.
Not everyone has a dad who will come to play pool with them until the wee hours of the night.
It was a good time.

Had an amazing French dinner with these lovely ladies

Pretended we are gymnasts
